Ukrainian Journal of Constitutional Law ensures the long-term preservation of its published content and maintains access to the full texts of the journal through its own electronic archive and an external national repository.
1. The Journal’s Electronic Archive
All issues of the Ukrainian Journal of Constitutional Law are preserved in the journal’s openly accessible electronic Archive.
The Archive contains the journal’s issues and the full texts of published materials and ensures continued access to the scholarly content published through the journal’s official website.
2. National Digital Preservation
All journal issues are also deposited with the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine for inclusion in its electronic catalog and for long-term preservation.

Issues of the journal, together with the full texts of the published materials, are deposited in the electronic archive of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
3. Delay in the Availability of Full Texts in the National Library Repository
In accordance with the technical procedures governing electronic archiving by the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, the full texts of journal issues become available in the library’s electronic catalog upon the expiry of a 24-month period from the date of publication.
This delay applies solely to the availability of full texts within the electronic resource of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and does not constitute an embargo on open access to the articles published on the journal’s official website. The full texts of current and newly published issues are available free of charge through the journal’s website immediately upon publication.
4. Continuity of Archiving
The journal’s editorial office systematically deposits all newly published issues with the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and maintains the journal’s own electronic archive.
Accordingly, the archiving arrangements cover the journal’s entire publication record, from its first issue through the most recently published issue.
5. DOI Preservation and Persistent Identifiers
The journal assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to its scholarly articles. DOIs provide persistent identifiers for publications and are used to ensure stable references to published materials.
The editorial office endeavors to maintain the accessibility of DOIs and the corresponding publication pages throughout the journal’s entire period of operation.
6. Archiving of Translated Versions
Where an article is published in two language versions as two separate publication records, each version is assigned its own DOI and has a separate publication page. The translated version is linked to the original version through the corresponding bibliographic and DOI metadata.
7. Restoration of Access to Published Content
In the event of a technical failure of the website or other temporary unavailability, the editorial office uses available archival copies and external preservation of journal issues to restore access to published content.

8. Responsibility for Digital Preservation
The editorial office is responsible for maintaining the journal’s own electronic archive, ensuring the timely deposit of new issues with the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, and maintaining the accessibility of publication pages and the DOIs associated with published materials.
